A FRESH NEW LOOK
Drumroll, please... We are absolutely thrilled to reveal our fresh new logo to you! We didn't just want a new logo, we wanted something that our team could proudly show off and that aligns with our beliefs in sustainability. Despite some misconceptions about our industry, our products are all about reducing the need for lubricants and boosting efficiency. That's why we opted for a sleek and simple design that stays true to our kaupapa (our beliefs).
Inspired by the Koru, our logo has a unique Aotearoa New Zealand vibe that resonates globally. The stylised Koru symbol represents eternal movement and harmony and as Jono say's, it looks like a drop of grease! For us in New Zealand, it holds a powerful meaning symbolising new life, growth, strength and peace. It's modern, minimalist, and impactful whilst also retaining the green - a true reflection of our eco-friendly mission. If you didn't know, the Koru is the unfurling native New Zealand silver fern frond.
Having a name like Lubrication Solutions has led to some hilarious moments (and a few raised eyebrows), especially towards our female team members. While we're sticking with Lubrication Solutions, we're also introducing LSL - a new, simpler, and cooler nickname. Say goodbye to those awkward spelling moments over the phone or the repetitive form-filling at various work sites, this simple change is a welcomed improvement.
For those wondering, LSL is just a snappier version of Lubrication Solutions Limited.
To keep things budget-friendly, we're rolling out our brand update in stages. Here's the plan:
- Website, Business Cards, and Emails. Keep an eye out for these changes in the next few weeks, whether in our emails to you or on our sales orders.
- Printing and Workwear. Next up, all our printed materials will get a makeover (although we're mostly tech nerds who love the online world, unless there's a global outage!).
- Vehicles, Signage and Merchadise. Lastly, our company vehicles and signs will be revamped.
We're over the moon about this fresh new look and can't wait to share some caps and tees with you soon.
