Automatic lubrication pump repairs and testing
Automatic lubrication pumps work in demanding conditions. Dust, vibration, weather, long operating hours can eventually take their toll.
When an on-site service is not practical, remove the pump and send it to our Christchurch workshop. We can assess it, identify the fault and repair it where practical, helping you get the pump back into service and keep working.
Sometimes it makes more sense to send the pump to us
An on-site service is not always the quickest or most cost-effective option. Your machine may be working outside our immediate service area, your workshop may be able to remove the pump, or the fault may require workshop testing and repair.
Send or drop the pump off to us and we will assess it, explain what we find and repair it where practical.
Your pump does not need to arrive spotless. We know where these pumps work and what they go through. Remove any heavy loose dirt where practical, package it securely so lubricant cannot leak during transport and include details of the problem.

We replace worn or damaged components where possible. If the repair needs further approval or is unlikely to be economical, we contact you before proceeding.

Remove and package the pump securely to prevent damage or leakage during transport.

We assess, repair and return it
We inspect the pump, identify the fault and repair it where approved and practical.
If the repair is likely to be uneconomic, requires specialist parts or needs further approval, we will contact you before proceeding.
Once repaired, we test the pump to confirm it is operating correctly, then prepare it for collection or return delivery.

We primarily repair Groeneveld and BEKA automatic lubrication pumps. Contact us with the pump make, model and a photo if you are unsure whether we can help.
We can assess and test the pump, but not every lubrication system fault is caused by the pump itself. The problem may be elsewhere in the system, such as a blocked lubrication point, damaged hose, distributor fault or faulty wiring. It may also come from the machine’s electrical supply, controls or connections. If the pump tests correctly, we will explain what should be checked on the machine and may recommend an on-machine service.
