Policy

We are committed to providing a seamless experience from order processing to delivery and returns. Below is our Shipping and Returns Policy, including guidance for returns made after 20 days from the purchase date, handling fees for used products, and clarification on freight charges.


Shipping Policy


Domestic Shipping:

  • We offer standard shipping options throughout New Zealand using NZ Couriers and Post Haste.
  • Shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout based on current courier rates. These rates may fluctate, but as a general guide:
    • Small packages $6
    • Heavier products, such as grease pails, can cost up to $60 each.
  • Shipping times vary based on the chosen shipping method and location, typically ranging from 1-2 business days.
    • South Island 1-2 days (overnight to most places unless rural)
    • North Island 1-2 days (overnight to most places unless rural)

Order Processing:

  • Orders are processed same day of receiving your order, if received before 4pm. If received after 4pm we are unable to guarantee delivery overnight and your order may be shipped the next day. 
  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched. 

Delivery Issues:

  • If you experience any issues with your delivery (e.g. delays, incorrect address) please contact us immediately so we can assist in resolving the problem as soon as possible. 


Returns Policy



Eligibility for Returns:

  • Products may be returned within 20 days of purchase, provided they are in original, unused condition with all documentation intact.
  • Returns made after 20 days from the purchase date may still be accepted but are subject to a 15% handling fee.
  • Products returned after 20 days will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Unused Products in Good Condition:

  • For unused products returned in good condition, we will refund the cost of the product only.
  • Original shipping/freight costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.
  • The customer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs if the return is due to a change of mind or non-faulty reasons.

Restocking Fee for Used or Dirty Products:

  • If a returned product shows signs of use, such as grease, dirt, or wear, a restocking fee of up to 30% will be applied to cover cleaning, refurbishing, or disposal costs.
  • If the product is significantly used or damaged and cannot be restored to resalable condition, it may not be eligible for a refund. We will contact you in such cases to discuss the next steps.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom-made or special-order items (special-orders e.g. items that are not typically kept in stock often requiring special arrangements with suppliers). 
  • Products that have been heavily used, installed, or modified beyond repair.

Return Process:

  • To initiate a return, please contact us. We will provide return instructions and process the return.
  • Be sure to include a copy of the original receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Returns made after 20 days are subject to a 15% handling/restocking fee.

Freight Charges:

  • Faulty or Incorrect Items: If your item is faulty or we shipped the wrong product, we will cover the return shipping costs and refund the original freight cost.
  • Change of Mind: If you return an item because you no longer want it, the original shipping cost is non-refundable, and the return shipping is at your own expense.

​Refunds:

  • Upon receiving and inspecting the returned items, we will notify you of the refund status.
  • Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • For returns after 20 days, refunds will be processed minus a 15% handling fee.
  • For used or dirty items, a restocking fee of up to 30% may apply depending on the condition of the product.

Exchanges:

  • Exchanges for the same product are available, subject to stock availability. Please contact us to arrange an exchange.

Damaged or Faulty Products:

  • If a product is faulty or arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, including return shipping costs.
